Five card draw, or Five card stud as my dad calls it, is quite more difficult than Texas hold them. Even if you have a crappy hand though, it may help to hold on to the highest of the cards in your hand – because a full redraw is taking another five chances of crappy cards.
The money system is meant to hold you back, even if you get a pair, you only make the money back you bet. I find it helps to conservatively play the chance game, deciding the next color of the card. If you get it right, then bank it and don’t chance the second card. if you lose the first color, then you only lost what you bet anyways. Also, bank on the better hands (better than one pair) and skip the color chance.
